Oils are items crafted through Alchemy that can temporarily buff your weapons. Once made, an oil can be applied to your steel or silver sword, and will stay in effect for several hits. During this time, all strikes against the right enemy will deal additional damage. Oils do not need to be replenished through Meditation like other Alchemy items such as Bombs. To find Oils, look for manuscript pages in chests.
